Competition Rules
In every battle involving two judokas, trying to score points by throwing the opponent or using a dam that will immobilize valid for a specified time. Win the first judoka to achieve a point, if none wins gets to have half a point, and If there is no score the more credits you accumulate.
The fight lasts 5 minutes for men and 4 in the case of the women.

The result

Ippon - It is a point and therefore victory. Is achieved for three reasons:
• A release that meets four criteria: control, strength, speed, and to be performed in the back.
• A valid prey immobilization for 25 seconds.
• Forcing the opponent to surrender after a dam strangulation or dislocation.

Waza-ari - assumes half point. Is achieved with a pitch that is missing one of the criteria of quality, or immobilization of 20 seconds.

Yuko - is obtained with a pitch that has only two elements of quality or a retention of 15 to 19 seconds.

Koka - The launch has only one criterion of quality or otherwise retains the 10 to 14 seconds.
. Both
assume no points but are taken into account to break a tie, having more value to the yuko. In case of persistent tie, the judges decide the winner based on the effectiveness and aggressiveness. They raise a flag of blue or white to indicate the winner judoka.

Penalties.
There are four types according to their severity posed by order, from a koka to an ippon. Penalize the defensive, pushing the opponent outside the combat zone or hazardous actions.
